Remote education provision: information for parents

Will my child be taught broadly the same curriculum as they would if they were in school?

We teach the same curriculum remotely as we do in school. The resources that are used in school are uploaded onto our home learning site to support your child when they are learning from home.

How will my child access any online remote education you are providing?

Please follow the link above to access our home learning site. We ask for parents and children to upload completed work onto their child's file on our home learning site for teachers to view. Alternatively Foundation and Year 1 can send photos over Tapestry. 

If my child does not have digital or online access at home, how will you support them to access remote education?

We recognise that some pupils may not have suitable online access at home. The school will provide resources such as laptops or an iPad if technology is needed. If web access is not available the school will source appropriate materials and resources to support home learning such as whiteboards and activity sheets. Weekly packs can be printed by class teachers for children who do not have access to a printer. Work can be handed in at the school office. Please contact the headteacher for more information.
